CenTrak Asset Tag
The IT-713 is a battery-powered RF/IR Tag that attaches to items that need to be tracked, located and identified. Every Tag broadcasts its unique ID and a status message at a periodic rate. Tags are equipped with on-board infrared (IR) and motion sensors. The Infrared sensor is extremely sensitive and is a key to the superior performance of the system. When the tag senses that it arrived at a new infrared location it reports the event immediately to the system. When the tag is not in motion the tag inactivates its IR receiver to save power. This family of Tags is designed to be deployed in concert with CenTrak’s room Monitors and Ethernet receivers (called STARs). The Tags can be used for both people and equipment. For equipment, the Tag has a detection system to alert if it has been removed.
