Ari Naim
President and CEO / Co-Founder
Dr. Naim holds advanced degrees in electrical and computer engineering from Drexel
University. He is an expert in all aspects of complex electronic product design
and high volume Far East production. He helped design, develop and launch over 30
successful consumer electronic products for leading OEMs. Naim is the recipient
of the prestigious IEEE Outstanding Chapter Award for his valued services and contributions
as Chairman of the IEEE Philadelphia Section from 1990 to 1996. Dr. Naim has authored
numerous patents.
Israel Amir
Chief Technology Officer / Co-Founder
Dr. Israel Amir is responsible for new product introduction, system engineering,
electronic hardware design, algorithms development, as well as mass manufacturing
and intellectual property. Dr. Amir developed the fundamental approach to CenTrak’s
RTLS system and is a main source to many of its innovative features. Prior to CenTrak,
Dr. Amir was the Director of Research and Intellectual Property Strategy at Digital
5, Inc., where he managed the company's patent activity and led successful forward-looking
projects in networking technology, multimedia processing and security. Dr. Amir
received his Bachelor’s from The Technion in Israel, his Master’s from Purdue University,
and his PhD from Drexel University. Amir has authored numerous papers and has more
than 30 patents, granted and pending.
Wil Lukens
Sr. Vice President, Sales & Business Development
Mr. Lukens has over 15 years of successful execution in high tech, business development
and sales management roles. He joined CenTrak from InnerWireless, where he was responsible
for sales of the RTLS and RFID product lines inherited from the company’s merger
with PanGo. In that role, Mr. Lukens managed channel partner strategy as well as
field relationships for Cisco, a key technology partner. Prior to the merger, Mr.
Lukens functioned as PanGo’s Vice President of Sales, leading the company to triple
digit sales growth in 2006. He holds a BA from Maryville College and an MBA from
the University of Tennessee.
Mark Nowakowski
Vice President, Sales
Mr. Nowakowski has over twenty years of sales, marketing, and management experience
in the information technology field. Most recently he was Regional Sales Vice President
for Awarix, developers of the first Enterprise Visual Control Solution for Hospitals.
Awarix was acquired by McKesson Corporation in July 2007. Prior to that, Mr. Nowakowski
was the Vice President of Sales for Devon IT. Devon IT develops and manufactures
thin clients and solutions for secure, remote access to applications. While at Devon
IT he built a direct sales force, developed channels sales partnerships, and established
teleselling resources for lead generation. Mr. Nowakowski has had successful positions
in sales and sales management at companies such as Safeguard Scientifics and Digital
Equipment Corporation.
Vince Prosperi
Vice President, Corporate Accounts
Vince Prosperi is a veteran healthcare technology sales executive with over 20 years
of experience. During his career Mr. Prosperi has worked with surgeons, nurses,
information technology, clinical engineering, and operational executives to improve
outcomes through the acquisition of innovative technologies. He brings a rare
combination of clinical, operational and technology expertise gained through his
experiences in companies like Johnson & Johnson, Baxter International, VitalCom
(acquired by GE Healthcare) and Computer Associates. For 5 years prior to joining CenTrak,
Mr. Prosperi was focused on sales of RTLS systems to healthcare provider organizations.
At Awarepoint, Mr. Prosperi helped build the foundation for a customer base by adding significant
new clients in his role as Regional Vice President of Sales. Mr. Prosperi has been involved in
numerous RTLS deployments using a variety of technologies and brings important lessons learned
regarding its selection, deployment and support. In his role with CenTrak he will be working
with strategic accounts to drive the sales of CenTrak-based partner solutions. Mr. Prosperi holds
a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
Karups Annamalai
Vice President, Engineering / Co-Founder
Karups Annamalai brings with him over 15 years of engineering and management experience
in the handheld consumer electronics field. His technical background is in the areas
of embedded software design and development, text and voice compression technologies,
user interface design and embedded programming for portable wireless devices. He
has extensive experience in streamlining development processes and quality assurance
procedures, and has spent considerable time in environments where development cost
and time-to-market are critical success factors. During his career, he has been
involved in the development and release of over 40 consumer electronic products
and software applications. He was responsible for putting together and managing
a staff of over 25 technical professionals, as well as building an outsourcing initiative
with over 40+ software professionals in India. He manages CenTrak's internal and
external (India) core software and technology development efforts. He received his
BECS & BECE from PSG College of Technology and MSCS from Drexel University.
Francis Li
Vice President, Manufacturing
Francis joined CenTrak in 2004 and brings with him over 20 years of broad experience
in hands-on product design & development, product management, manufacturing integration
and mass production of leading edge technologies for the consumer electronics industry.
Prior to his work with CenTrak, Mr. Li founded Silverlux Ltd; a Hong Kong based
consultancy service, providing top tier OEM's manufacturing support in the Far East.
Mr. Li was team leader of and instrumental in the development of over 50 new products
that have generated annual revenues of $100+ million
Gideon Naim
Chief Financial Officer / Co-Founder
Prior to co-founding CenTrak (Remote Play), Mr. Naim co-founded Digital 5 in 1994
to commercialize portable chip based recording technology. The Company launched
the first product to incorporate digital recoding with a digital diary, the “TotalRecall™”,
launched in over 3,000 locations across the U.S. and Europe. The Company went on
to create the first Internet connected digital audio player, the “Listen-Up Player”,
with Audiohighway.com. Mr. Naim supervised the Company’s growth from $0 to $12M
in revenues and about 100 employees. In total, the company raised over $30,000,000
in Venture Capital, Private Equity, Strategic Investors and Private Debt.
Previously, Mr. Naim managed the Real Estate Group at Wharton Econometric Forecasting
Associates. He consulted with Fortune 500 companies on all aspects of real estate
portfolios. Subsequently, as a research manager at AEW Capital Management, Mr. Naim
was involved in large institutional real estate transactions. He has authored and
contributed to a number of publications on the subject of evaluating and forecasting
business trends, which have appeared in sources such as BARRON's, The New York Times,
and US News and World Report. Mr. Naim holds a BA in Economics and MBA in Finance.
